Gambler’s Help practitioners run workshops, forums and training sessions for the following groups of health and welfare professionals:

  • General practitioners
  • Primary and allied health providers, in both public and private practice
  • Professionals in the community welfare and justice systems

This training covers:

  • Problem gambling interventions and casework practices
  • Development and implementation of referral and service coordination protocols

Working with CALD clients

The Multicultural Gambler’s Help Program provides free tailored training to community organisations and Gambler’s Help services on a range of topics when working with culturally and liguistically diverse (CALD)clients, including:

  • Problem Gambling and CALD communities
  • Cultural Competence
  • Inclusive Intake and Assessment
  • Language Services
